NO FURTHER COMMENT

No Further Comment is a series of monochrome works exploring indifference, artistic value and the absurdity of taking things too seriously.

Each work consists of a single field of colour, digitally printed on PVC-free banner and stretched over a frame. The visual language is reduced to almost nothing. The titles introduce another layer: dry, dismissive, occasionally hostile.

Situated somewhere between painting, printed object and conceptual gesture, the works question the demands placed on art to be original, meaningful and significant.

The colour is there. The title is there. No further explanation is provided.
